We built the kind of therapy practice we wanted our communities to have

All Things New Clinical Services is a Black-owned, clinician-led telehealth practice. Most clinicians serve clients physically located in Maryland, and Dr. Demarest Crawl also serves clients physically located in Washington, DC.

We believe you deserve therapy that is clinically strong, genuinely human, and aware of the world you live in. You should be able to talk about anxiety, trauma, marriage, parenting, grief, work, faith, race, or identity without having to decide which parts of yourself are "appropriate" for the room.

Culture is clinical context, not an afterthought

Many Black clients have learned to be competent, composed, faithful, productive, and available to everyone else - even when they are hurting. Some have had past experiences in health care where they felt unseen, overexplained, judged, or reduced to a stereotype.

ATNC was created with those realities in mind. We center Black experiences while recognizing that there is no single Black story. We ask rather than assume. We listen for both personal and systemic context. We help clients use their strengths without requiring them to stay strong all the time.

What you can expect from us

  • Care without judgment. You can bring the parts of your story that feel complicated, messy, painful, or unfinished.

  • Evidence with humanity. We use established clinical approaches without turning therapy into a lecture or checklist.

  • Collaboration. Your therapist brings clinical knowledge; you bring lived knowledge of yourself. Treatment works best when both matter.

  • Practical movement. Insight is important, and so is applying what you learn between sessions.

  • Faith by request. If spirituality is meaningful to you, it can be included. It will never be assumed, pressured, or required.

  • Respect for difference. Black-centered does not mean Black-only. We welcome clients from every racial, cultural, faith, gender, and identity background.

Who and Where We Serve

ATNC serves adults age 18 and older through individual telehealth. Common areas of care include anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, emotional abuse recovery, life transitions, relationship and family stress, racial stress, caregiving, faith concerns, and veteran or military-spouse experiences.

Each clinician may provide care only when the client is physically located in a jurisdiction where that clinician is licensed or otherwise legally authorized to practice. Most ATNC clinicians serve clients located in Maryland. Dr. Demarest Crawl is licensed in Maryland and Washington, DC and may serve clients located in either jurisdiction.

Our Laurel address is used for mail and administration. ATNC does not provide in-person therapy at that location.

Our promise

We cannot promise that therapy will be easy or that change will happen on a fixed timeline. We can promise to take your concerns seriously, work collaboratively, communicate clearly, and treat your humanity with care.

We're Making Therapy Work Better.
