Your Appointment Time Is Reserved for You

Consistent attendance supports treatment progress and helps appointment times remain available for clients who need care. Please contact All Things New Clinical Services as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.

48-Hour Cancellation Policy

Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment. Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice and missed appointments may result in a $120 fee when permitted by applicable law and insurance requirements.

Insurance generally does not cover late-cancellation or missed-appointment fees. Maryland Medicaid participants will not be charged for missed appointments or late cancellations.

How to Cancel or Reschedule

Current clients should cancel or reschedule through the secure client portal. If you cannot access the portal, use the office contact method identified in your service agreement.

Please do not use the website contact form for cancellations or time-sensitive clinical messages.

Exceptions and Special Circumstances

Your signed service agreement contains the complete cancellation policy and any applicable exceptions. Contact the office promptly when an emergency or unusual circumstance affects your attendance. Contacting the office does not guarantee that the fee will be waived.

Driving, Unsafe Settings, and Location Requirements

A clinician will not begin—or will end—a session if the client is driving or operating a vehicle.

A session may also be unable to proceed if:

• The client is physically located outside a jurisdiction where the assigned clinician is authorized to practice;

• The setting is not sufficiently private or safe; or

• The client cannot participate appropriately in the session.

When permitted by applicable law and insurance requirements, an appointment that cannot proceed for one of these reasons may be treated as a late cancellation or missed appointment under the signed service agreement.
