ATNC therapeutic services are designed to serve you wherever you are. We offer individual counseling, couples counseling, and life coaching in person. We also offer video tele-therapy via HIPPA secure web-based communication. We believe in being honest and upfront about our fees. The cost for our services is listed under each service on our Booking page.

ATNC is currently an in-network provider for BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, and United Healthcare, and we can provide documentation (invoice) if you wish to submit to an insurance company for "out of network" benefit coverage.

We accept cash and all major credit cards. For your convenience you can book your appointment with ease by calling us.

We ask that if you have to cancel your appointment you give 24 hours notice. If you do not provide at least 24 hours’ notice of a cancelled appointment, or if you fail to show for a scheduled appointment, you will be charged a $75 cancellation fee.

WHAT ISSUES CAN BE ADDRESSED IN THERAPY?

depression

Depression is a mood disorder that causes a persistent feeling of sadness and loss of interest. Also called major depressive disorder or clinical depression, it affects how you feel, think and behave and can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems. You may have trouble doing normal day-to-day activities, and sometimes you may feel as if life isn't worth living.

More than just a bout of the blues, depression isn't a weakness and you can't simply "snap out" of it. Depression may require long-term treatment. But don't get discouraged. Most people with depression feel better with medication, psychotherapy or both.

anxiety

Experiencing occasional anxiety is a normal part of life. However, people with anxiety disorders frequently have intense, excessive and persistent worry and fear about everyday situations. Often, anxiety disorders involve repeated episodes of sudden feelings of intense anxiety and fear or terror that reach a peak within minutes (panic attacks).

These feelings of anxiety and panic interfere with daily activities, are difficult to control, are out of proportion to the actual danger and can last a long time. You may avoid places or situations to prevent these feelings. Symptoms may start during childhood or the teen years and continue into adulthood.

trauma

If you’ve experienced an extremely stressful or disturbing event that’s left you feeling helpless and emotionally out of control, you may have been traumatized. Psychological trauma can leave you struggling with upsetting emotions, memories, and anxiety that won’t go away. It can also leave you feeling numb, disconnected, and unable to trust other people. When bad things happen, it can take a while to get over the pain and feel safe again.

Surviving an affair

Surviving an affair aint easy. It might be the hardest thing you and your partner go through. Healing from an affair is not automatic, it will take time BUT IT CAN HAPPEN. Many couples do survive an affair and many couples say their relationship ends up even stronger in the end. I nonjudgmentally and empathetically work with you and your partner to heal your relationship using an evidence based model for couples who have experienced an affair.  Your relationship can get better.

We all want to be great parents, but unfortunately there is no manual. You want to guide your children to help them make the most of their potential, and you want them to grow up to be contributing members of society. I teach you how to parent or

co-parent with an ex to accomplish this goal.

Deciding if we should stay together

If you're in a relationship and can’t decide whether you should break up or stay together I empathize with you-- been there. It can be confusing and heart breaking, and it can leave you sitting on the fence and going back and forth for days, weeks, or even years. Don’t spend years trying to get out. I work with you to clarify your true wants and desires in a relationship. After weighing the facts of your relationship you become clear on the decision you need to make for yourself.
